CNC Lathe Programmer

Job TitleProgramming using MastercamProgram with live tooling, set-up & operate a variety of CNC lathe machines and equipment, and machine parts from customer-stated specificationsEnsure parts are machined to customer specificationsVerify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run partsInspect and measure machined parts to ensure blueprint specifications are metMonitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerancesDocument actions by completing production and quality logs as requiredMaintain a clean and orderly work area at all timesComply with all company processes, procedures, quality directives and safety proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skill, Experience and Minimum Education RequiredMinimum 10+ years programming/set-up/operating in CNC LatheAbility to program using MastercamAbility to use measuring instruments e.g. gauges, micrometers, calipersAbility to set-up & make editsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility to read and understand CNC programming in order to verify parts are machined to meet requirementsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
