If you're passionate about precision and quality, we'd love to have you on our team!Why Empower Manufacturing?Competitive pay: up to $35 per hour, depending on experience.Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 4-day work week with optional overtime.Culture: A positive and supportive work culture.Work Schedule:40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.Monday - Thursday: 4:30pm - 3:00am.Optional weekend overtime available, but never mandatory!Our Fantastic Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insuranceEmployee assistance programDollar-for-dollar 401K match up to 4%80 hours paid time off starting day 1Maternity/paternity leave8 paid holidaysMonthly bonus potentialWhat You'll Do:Showcase your skills: Set up and operate CNC lathes, demonstrating your expertise and precision.Innovate with confidence: Perform dry-runs on new programs, ensuring everything runs smoothly before production.Ensure quality: Inspect parts meticulously to meet customer prints and specifications.Work efficiently: Use an overhead hoist or jib crane to safely and efficiently load and unload steel from the machine.Requirements:Read and interpret customer prints and specifications: Utilize your expertise to accurately understand and work from detailed customer drawings and specs.Setup and operate CNC lathes with live tooling: Showcase your skills by efficiently setting up and operating CNC lathes.Work with large dimensions: Handle parts up to 24" in diameter and 125" in length.Make offsets and perform light program editing: Fine-tune operations by making necessary offsets and performing minor program edits.Follow company work orders and instructions: Adhere to provided work orders and instructions to ensure high-quality results.Measure parts with basic equipment: Ensure precision by measuring parts with tools like micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers.Adaptability: Be ready to take on additional tasks as assigned by management to support our team's success.
