Position Details
- Job Title: Lathe / Mill Operator
- Location: Chesterfield, MI
- Shift: 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM
- Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Employment Type: Contract to Hire
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes and milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating lathe and/or milling machines preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift
1+ year experience with CNC, Lathe and/or Mill
