CNC Lathe Machinist ALL SHIFTS

CNC Lathe MachinistsWe are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to join a precision manufacturing team in Poway, CA. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to manufacture high-quality precision components while maintaining production efficiency, safety, and quality standards. There are multiple shifts available for this role.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathe machines for precision machining of metallic materialsInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, sketches, and technical specificationsPerform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain quality standardsInspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring toolsMaintain tight tolerances and high-quality workmanshipMonitor and manage tool life performancePerform basic deburring and rework as neededTroubleshoot machining and production issuesRecommend process improvements to increase efficiency and qualityMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform operator-level machine maintenance and support additional production tasks as neededFollow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standardsQualificationsMinimum 3 years of CNC lathe machining experience requiredExperience using G-codes requiredAbility to work independently on second shiftStrong blueprint reading and machining interpretation skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong shop math and measurement skillsFamiliarity with general manufacturing safety and quality systemsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredWillingness to support multiple tasks within a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsAerospace manufacturing experience preferredExperience machining aerospace materials including Inconel, titanium, and stainless steelTool life management experience preferredExperience with 3-axis machine setup is a plusCompensation & BenefitsPay Range: $25.00 – $40.00/hour DOEAdditional 10% shift differential for second shift employeesFull-time, non-exempt opportunity
