CNC Field Service EngineerMundelein, Illinois, United StatesAbout the JobJob Duties:Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.Expect up to 80% travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico to support customer needs.Ideal Candidates:Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, encompassing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities."Hands-on" individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.Must Have:CNC grinding experience, troubleshooting CNC machines, remote support.Nice to Have:Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
