nTaconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Beacon is looking to add a CNA Trainee to its team. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while participating in a Certified Nursing Assistant training program. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and instructors, you'll learn the skills needed to provide compassionate care and support to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

Participate in the facility's Certified Nursing Assistant training program

Observe and learn resident care techniques, safety procedures, and infection control practices
n n - n
Assist with resident care activities as permitted under training program guidelines and supervision
n n - n
Practice CNA skills through demonstrations, return demonstrations, and supervised clinical experiences
n n - n
Communicate resident observations and concerns to nursing staff and instructors
n n - n
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and rights at all times
n n - n
Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection prevention protocols
n n - n
Attend all required classes, clinical training sessions, and educational activities
n n - n
Complete training assignments, skills evaluations, and competency requirements
n n - n
Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the training program

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a high school equivalency program preferred

Interest in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn

Ability to follow directions and maintain professional conduct

Must successfully meet all program and facility requirements for participation in CNA training
