CNA Opportunities at Riverside Care of Florida
Riverside Care of Florida is seeking experienced, reliable certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to join our team. We are a family of dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our goal for this position is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities residing in a residential group setting, ensuring they receive the highest level of care in the comfort of their home.
CNAs with prior group home/group care experience is preferred.
We currently have part-time opportunities available:
- EOW (every other weekend) 7am-7pm
- PRN weekends 7am-7pm
- PRN weekdays 6am-10pm
The open cases above require proficiency with some or all of the following tasks:
- Medication assistance
- Transfers/Hoyer lift use
- Vital signs
- Intake & output monitoring
- Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Ability to work and collaborate with partner staff
Standard Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, and toileting
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
- Support continence care, including use of briefs, bedpans, and commodes
- Assist with feeding and hydration as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
- Observe for and report changes in client condition, behavior, or safety concerns to the supervising nurse
- Implement fall prevention and safety measures per care plan
- Provide supervision for clients requiring cueing or redirection
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, bed-making, and tidying client living areas
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in home care or home health
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English (bilingual a plus)
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- Current First Aid training
- Valid driver's license/ID
- High school education or higher (diploma/GED/transcript or equivalent required)

Job Types: Part-time, Contract (all contractors MUST show they are in business for themselves by proof of EIN, state business license, or business occupational license)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
