What You'll Do
- Provide daily hands-on care and support to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living such as personal care, mobility, and comfort needs
- Support residents during meals and assist with dining as needed
- Participate in resident admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
- Observe residents closely and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Document care and activities accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain a safe, clean, and infection-control compliant environment
- Assist with meaningful activities and encourage resident engagement and independence
- Treat residents and their belongings with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Experience in memory care, dementia care, or senior living
- Passion for working with residents with Alzheimer's or cognitive impairments
- Experience in a Montessori-inspired or person-centered care environment
In your first 12-24 months, you'll have opportunities to:
- Build specialized skills in memory care and dementia support
- Learn Montessori-based caregiving techniques that focus on independence and engagement
- Grow within Health Services and explore advancement opportunities
- Participate in ongoing training, education, and team development
Base Pay: $XX.XX/hour (based on experience)
