CNA - LTC/SNF

n Job Summary:n
n Provide direct bedside care to adult and geriatric patients in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility. Assist with daily patient activities, ensuring safety and comfort while adhering to facility protocols.n

n Responsibilities:n

• n Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.n
• n Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, including vital signs and physical status.n
• n Perform basic nursing tasks under supervision, such as specimen collection and medication assistance.n
• n Ensure a safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures.n
• n Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in accordance with facility policies.n
• n Float across units as needed within scope to meet staffing requirements.n

n Qualifications:n

• n Hold an active Maryland GNA certification at the time of submission.n
• n Possess at least 2 years of CNA/GNA experience; first-timers accepted with proper certification.n
• n Be certified in basic life support (BLS) through AHA.n
• n Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality with no tolerance for tardiness or unexcused absences.n
• n Possess effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.n
• n Comply with all state licensure requirements and certification standards.n
