Position Summary:
The CNA Instructor is responsible for providing classroom theory, skills laboratory instruction, and/or supervised clinical training to students enrolled in the California-approved Nurse Assistant Program. The instructor ensures students receive instruction consistent with the school’s CDPH-approved curriculum, applicable California regulations, institutional policies, and established standards of nursing practice.
The instructor provides competency-based education designed to prepare students to safely perform entry-level nurse assistant duties in long-term care and other healthcare settings and to meet eligibility requirements for the California Nurse Assistant Competency Examination.
