CNA/LVN Instructor Substitute
Substitute instructors teach the Nurse Assistant Training Program at the Adult School and High Schools. This class uses the CA State curriculum to prepare students for certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) & includes both theory & clinical instruction. The clinical experiences are at local nursing homes. The instructor is responsible for following all state mandates for CNA training, including compliance with state approved curriculum, instruction calendar & required documentation.
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Hiring process:
- Completed Application
- VUSD will verify fingerprint clearance with TCOE
- SkillSurvey Reference Process - You will receive an e-mail from SkillSurvey on how to complete the process.
- Qualifying candidates will be invited to attend an orientation.
- New hire CNA/LVN Instructor Substitutes will be set up in our systems: Employee ID, Email, etc.
- Please note: This process does take several weeks.
