Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator

• Make resident rounds to administer quality nursing care, verifying identification before administering care or serving food to ensure accurate treatment

• Perform essential care tasks, including making beds, cleaning bedside and overbed tables, and ensuring adequate hydration

• Demonstrate a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm, with a strong focus on patient-centered care

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or licensed as a certified nursing assistant

• Minimum of 1 month's experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Certification as a CNA in the state of Kansas
