Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Process Technician to join our team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical operations and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Shift Details

• Shift Type: Night 5x8-Hour
• Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in lifting and transporting heavy items and patients.
• Clean and turnover surgical rooms to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in orientation for the first three weeks, working the day shift (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) to become familiar with unit operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A valid Ohio or compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
• One reference from a prior manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty is required for submission.

Additional Requirements

• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are mandatory, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (including nicotine test) within the past 12 months.
• BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Work Environment

• Patient care involves various age groups and conditions.
• Daily census and number of patient visits vary.
• Adherence to facility guidelines and protocols is essential at all times.

Contract Information

• Travel assignments may extend up to 18 months, followed by a mandatory 6-month break before reapplying.
• Annual training modules are required, with specific billable hours as outlined by facility guidelines.
