CMM TechnicianThe CMM Technician is responsible for ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the shift using CMM and assorted gauges, and special wheel test equipment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSample Dicastal Processes using CMM programs and assorted gauges, special wheel test equipment.Make sure the sampling plan and 1st piece inspections are performed and communicated on the production floor.Assist in sorting and containment activities.Data entry and analysis SPC chartsComplete all required paperwork neatly and in a timely mannerOther duties as assigned or designatedSkills and ExperienceH.S. Diploma.Some knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft office)How to operate CMM and Hand gages.Good communication skills.Ability to problem solve.Organizational CultureWork safely and follow rules and guidelines for safe workReporting to work on time and with a positive attitudeResponsible for staying focused on tasks at handBeing responsible for work performance and completing tasks throughout the dayMaintains a good working relationship with co-workersSupport a positive and steady workflow through the companyWorks with a sense of urgency when neededSupport, coach or mentor co-workers when neededPositively support change throughout the companyPhysical Work ConditionsMust be able to work in a hot environment.Must be able to lift varying weightsMust be able to push or pull carts of wheels.Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day.Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required.*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
