Aerospace CMM Programmer (PC- DMIS)Location: Southington, CTIndustry: Aerospace ManufacturingJob Type: Full-timeJob Description:My client is seeking a CMM Programmer to join their team! In this role, you will perform highly complex in-process, final bench, and product feature inspections. This position will be located at their manufacturing facility headquarters.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position to include, but not limited to:Create programs for new parts using PC DMIS with scanning and probing techniquesDevelop and debug CMM programs using CAD tools to optimize probe movementsPrepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructionsRaise notifications of non-conformance, quarantine non-conforming product, and provide dispositionPerform first article inspections (FIA) and use predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in-process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements.Qualifications:3 - 5 years' experience in CMM programming (complex aerospace components preferred)Proficient with PC DMIS, PPAP, Net Inspect, Mastercam, Solidworks, and Verify (Aerospace OEM Portals a plus)Working knowledge of various measuring devices, testing equipment, gage and fixture designAbility to interpret blueprints and develop concepts for measuring intricate machined featuresPunctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as deemed necessary by supervisor to meet customer demandsExcellent mathematical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Education Required: High school or vocational graduateCompensation:We offer a very generous compensation package, and our benefits package includes, health, dental, 401K plan, vacation, and life insurance.Hours: First Shift is 5:30AM – 4:00PM, Monday – Thursday with overtime available on Friday as neededIf you feel you are the right fit for the position, please send a current resume and cover letter with salary requirements.It is the policy of this company to ensure equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, gender, religion, age, national origin, disability, qualified veteran status, or other protected class status
