What you'll be doing

• Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software (for a ZEISS Contura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and a ZEISS Contura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold)
• Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments
• Plan inspections, including ballooning drawings
• Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications
• Support troubleshooting and validation activities to reach first-article qualification quickly and efficiently
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency

What we're looking forRequired

• 3+ years of hands-on Calypso programming experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications
• Competitive programming times
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• CMM inspection experience with curve forms, maximum material condition, and advanced GD&T
• Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling

Pay, benefits and schedule

• Up to $90,000/year, depending on experience
• $5,000 sign-on bonus: $2,500 at 90 days, $2,500 at 6 months
