We're seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to program and perform dimensional inspections on complex, tight-tolerance machined components in a low-volume manufacturing environment.CMM Programmer Benefits and Compensation:$35–$40/hour, based on experience1st shift: 6:24 AM–2:54 PM with flexible hoursOvertime at 1.5x from 40–50 hours and 2x after 50 hours100% company-paid employee medical coverageLow-cost spouse and family medical coverage401(k) with company-funded profit sharing7 paid SOD days plus PTOLife, short-term and long-term disability insuranceCMM Programmer Requirements & Qualifications:5+ years of dimensional inspection experienceStrong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeExperience inspecting precision-machined components to tolerances of 0.0002" or lessProficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators, and other precision inspection toolsStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot dimensional and inspection issuesMust Haves:Hands-on CMM programming experience, not solely CMM operationAbility to independently program, set up, and run CMM equipmentExperience developing inspection programs for complex machined componentsAbility to identify and communicate out-of-tolerance conditions to machining and engineering teamsCMM Programmer Preferred Background & Skills:PC-DMIS programming experienceHexagon CMM or portable measuring arm experienceOptical inspection experienceAerospace or other tight-tolerance precision manufacturing background
