This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, high-precision manufacturer supplying complex work into aerospace, defense and other advanced industries. As a result of continued growth and facility expansion, they are looking to add to their inspection team on an off-shift pattern.
On offer is a secure position where you'll be properly supported on the job, working with tight-tolerance components and varied work, using Zeiss CMMs and precision hand tools to ensure parts meet specification.
This role would suit a CMM Programmer/Operator with Zeiss experience (Calypso or PC-DMIS) looking for a long-term opportunity, strong workload with overtime, and the chance to keep developing their skills in a specialist environment.
The Role: Program and operate Zeiss CMMs for inspection of machined and assembled products Write, run and optimize tight-tolerance CMM programs (prototype to final inspection) Calibration/validation and correlation studies to verify measurement accuracy Off-shift options (e.g. Mon-Fri 4pm-12am / Mon-Thurs 2pm-12am / Fri-Sun, 3x12hr shifts - Paid for 40hrs) Lots of overtime available (up to 2x)
The Person: CMM Programmer Experience writing programs using Zeiss Calypso or PC-DMIS Familiar with precise measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges; tight tolerances)
