The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator will inspect castings, fixtures, and related tooling utilizing CMM software to measure dimensions according to work instructions.Highlights and BenefitsQuarterly profit-sharing bonus; eligible upon hirePaid time off401(k) with company matchPaid holidaysTuition / professional development reimbursementHealth, dental, and vision insuranceOptional HSA with company contributionShort-term disability, long term disability, and life insurance at no costLimitless opportunity for advancementRequirementsSet up and operate CMM equipment to inspect partsFollow work instructions and select appropriate CMM program to inspect castingsAccurately document inspection results and generate required reportsCalibrate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure accuracyIdentify non-conformances and communicate findings to engineering and qualityCollaborate with quality engineers and production staff to resolve quality issuesMaintain clean and organized work areaKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent2 or more years' experience operating CMM equipmentProficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&TExperience with CMM software (PC-DMIS or Calypso)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independentlyIntermediate knowledge of PC programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Familiarity with manual inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.Basic understanding and knowledge of AS9100D and NADCAP standardsCompensationStarts at $18.00 per hourScheduleTraining for up to 90 days on first shift: 6:00am to 2:30 pm.Then to second shift: 10:00am to 6:30pm.
