CMA LPN Urology Breast Surgery Allouez

Full‑time position (40 hours per week). 0.8 FTE in Urology and 0.2 FTE in Breast Surgery.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for pre‑visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assist with procedures, provide discharge instructions, and carry out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. The role helps ensure patients feel at ease and collaborates with providers throughout the visit.

What you will do

• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
• Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in‑office procedures and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards, including appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program.

Required Experience Qualifications

Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN obtained through professional MA/LPN work experience or completion of student clinical rotations.

Preferred

• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
