CLS - Material Planner I

Job TitleDispatches and expedites orders for parts, sub-assemblies and final assemblies through various operations to meet scheduled requirements within plant.Releases manufacturing information in line with schedules and expedites through various operations to meet scheduled dates. Acts as a source of information concerning all orders under his control.Contacts Purchasing Department for purchased materials required in line with schedules.Extensive contacts with all departments to gather information in order to coordinate the manufacture, paint, etc. of proper parts to receive in assembly area at proper time.Work follows a general pattern but requires judgment and ingenuity to work our schedules to meet acceptable orders dates.
