Cloud Systems AnalystAgency: Texas Health and Human Services CommissionLocation: 701 W. 51st St., Austin, Texas 78751Telework Policy: Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Wed) required to be onsite at the location listed above. No H1BRequirements/Preferences:8 years, Required - Strong experience in DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines)8 years, Required - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform8 years, Required - Expertise in Snowflake administration including: Access control and security (RBAC, least privilege); Performance tuning and warehouse management8 years, Required - Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data engineering tasks8 years, Required - Experience with containerization and orchestration (AKS preferred)8 years, Required - Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data integration8 years, Required - Understanding of AI/ML concepts and platform integration8 years, Required - Experience with Azure Monitoring and Log Analytics, including: Centralized logging, alerting, and dashboarding Security monitoring using audit logs and metrics8 years, Required - Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools3 years, Preferred - Experience implementing AI-enabled data platforms (e.g., Snowflake Cortex / ML pipelines)3 years, Preferred - Experience with Infrastructure as Code3 years, Preferred - Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks3 years, Preferred - Prior experience in public sector or large enterprise environments2 years, Preferred - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills2 years, Preferred - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment2 years, Preferred - Attention to detail and commitment to best practices2 years, Preferred - Snowflake AI / Cortex features exposure8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system:Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AI integration, Azure cloud platform, and Snowflake administration, responsible for building scalable and secure data and AI pipelines.Strong experience in CI/CD, automation using Python, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.Provides end-to-end DevOps support, including security, governance (RBAC), and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud and data solutions.
