Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.The Enterprise Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible to create and execute cloud computing strategies by designing, developing, and managing cloud infrastructure and assets to help a business meet its goals.

The position will be responsible for deploying well architected framework pillars, ensuring customers are following best practices, guidance, and recommendations to develop cloud solutions that are secure, resilient, efficient, and managed with operational excellence.Your responsibilities include:Design cloud-based storage solutions for both structured and unstructured dataRecommend best practices for building secure and reliable applicationsIdentify and define which cloud-services meet a given technical requirementBrainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development and deliveryMonitor metrics and develop ways to improveProvide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, external services and internal resources requiredWork with source control tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and productionWe are looking for candidates with:BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience8+ years experience in developing technology solutions, including but not limited to: operations/engineering, networking engineering, infrastructure/database architecture, and/or applications development3+ years of experience in software development2+ years of experience in microservice design or containerization7+ years of experience with developing cloud-based solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure5+ years of experience with frameworks, architecture patterns and design patternsAWS or Azure Solutions Architect or Developer Associate certificationDevelop flexible architectures that enable capabilities that are leveraged across MagnaDesign cloud-based solutions that comply to GDPR and CCPA standardsBroad technology experience across at least 2-3 of these areas including: cloud architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytics, machine learning, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless, CI/CD, management and monitoring, cloud migrations, IT transformationExpertise with REST based Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methods and implementation technologies such as microservicesExperience architecting/designing solutions built on cloudExperience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloudPresentation and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and technical teamsOutstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level management helping in decision makingDemonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quicklyHands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP and private cloud technologiesUnderstanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Software-as-a-Service, and Function-as-a-Service modelsUnderstanding of the public Cloud Shared Responsibility ModelStrong background in authentication and authorization protocols and applications such as Azure Active Directory, AWS Cognito, and OAuth 2.0Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measuresExperience with Docker containersExperience with multiple programming languages (ex: JavaScript, C#, Python, C++, Java)Ability to write code to interact with cloud native servicesIn addition, we offer you the following site benefits: An overview of our benefits will be discussed during the recruitment process.Awareness.
