Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).Additional Job Details and Special ConsiderationsThe Cloud Solution Architect will provide strategic guidance in the development process, make technical decisions regarding solutions and explain how they will impact the organization.As part of Clients’ IT Applications – Social Services Applications initiatives, the Cloud Solution Architect 2 will be responsible for:Architect, develop and re-engineer applications that fully leverage the Cloud capabilities (preferably AWS)Define and develop blueprints and roadmaps for building efficient and high-performance solutions in the cloud (preferably AWS)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software solutions.Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging microservices architecture, containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes).Drive the adoption of cloud-native best practices for scalability, resilience, and maintainability.Implement and advocate for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.Plan and engineer cloud computing infrastructure and applications.Integrate applications with various third parties such as Federal agencies, State agencies and private firms (For example, CMS Federal Hub, SSA, MMIS, EBT, IRS, DHS, BCBS etc.)Provide cloud architecture guidance for Security, Identity/Access Management and Monitoring.
