Cloud Security Engineer (Prisma Cloud / AWS Security)
Pay rate: $85 $95/hr on C2C
Location: 100% Remote (US West or East Coast)
Duration: 12 Months
Engagement: Corp-to-Corp (C2C) or W2
Work authorization: USC, GC, H1B
Client: Global digital payments company (name confidential until shortlisting - standard US staffing practice)
What you will do:
- Identify and remediate cloud configuration drifts, exposed S3 buckets, and overly permissive IAM roles.
- Embed container and IaC vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with platform teams to define network security groups and egress filtering rules.
What you will bring:
- 6+ years of dedicated cloud security architecture and operations experience.
- Hands-on implementation of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) via Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or Wiz.
- Deep expertise in AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM access analyzer, and WAF rules.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, shifting security left using tools like Snyk or Checkov.
