Base Pay Range
$75.00/hr - $90.00/hr
One Year Contract To Hire
Responsibilities
- Programming and Scripting: Proficient in Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby for automation and tooling.
- Systems Administration: Deep understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, processes, and system configurations.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to manage infrastructure.
- Cloud Computing: Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services such as EC2, S3, Kubernetes, and serverless functions.
- Containers & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Networking: Understanding of DNS, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic; ability to set up dashboards and alerts.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- HashiCorp Vault & Terraform: Strong understanding enhances performance.
- Incident Management: Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and conduct post‑mortem reviews.
- Automation: Focus on automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in systems and applications.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross‑functional teams; create clear documentation and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Reliability & Scalability: Define and monitor SLOs and SLAs; design systems for scalability and fault tolerance.
- Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices, including access control, data encryption, and secure coding; familiar with GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI‑DSS compliance standards.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of previous program leadership and/or relevant consulting experience.
- Demonstrated experience in program management frameworks, knowledge groups, and life cycle.
