APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Cloud Security Architect (AWS & Azure) in San Francisco, USA . Design and implement enterprise‑grade cloud security architectures across AWS and Azure, driving zero‑trust adoption and compliance for APPIT Software Solutions in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security architectures for multi‑cloud environments spanning AWS and Azure
- Define and enforce cloud security policies, guardrails, and landing zone configurations using Infrastructure as Code
- Lead cloud security posture management (CSPM) initiatives and remediate misconfigurations at scale
- Architect identity federation, least‑privilege access models, and zero‑trust network segmentation for cloud workloads
- Evaluate and integrate cloud‑native security services (AWS GuardDuty, Security Hub, Azure Defender, Sentinel)
- Provide technical leadership during security incidents involving cloud infrastructure and advise executive stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud security or security architecture with deep AWS and Azure expertise
- Professional cloud security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or AZ‑500
- Expert knowledge of cloud IAM, VPC networking, encryption services, and key‑management systems
- Experience designing security for containerized workloads (EKS, AKS) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53) in cloud contexts
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud architecture designs
Nice to Have
- Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for security‑as‑code implementations
- Background in securing multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
- Knowledge of eBPF‑based runtime security tools
