Cloud Network Architect
Must have Juniper Experience
Location: Nashville, TN But Remote role a Superstar
Duration: 6+months contract to hire
Responsibilities:
- Drive projects and lead teams for cloud network and security transformation projects for a Large Enterprise company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of applications and services into the cloud network infrastructure
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Over 10 years of experience in networking paired with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
- Will function as the Juniper Networks products Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including BGP, IPSec, network segmentation, VRFs, switching, VLANs and load balancers.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Juniper environment, with knowledge of routing (BGP/OSPF/ISIS), security (FW, IDP, IPS), and WAN routing technologies
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and testing MPLS, EVPNs, VPLSs, and EPLs in a Juniper service provider environment
- Understanding of DevOps practices, containerization, security, and observability.
- Very well versed with edge networking Equinix, Aviatrics
- Azure Networking
- Equinix and mega port
- Architect to get closer to the Cloud
- Expert in BGP
