To support ongoing growth, the full-time Cloud Native Geospatial Scientist will develop and maintain Python software, manage large-scale geospatial data, and collaborate with various teams in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain clean, tested Python code for large-area applications Work with large raster and vector datasets using cloud-native formats and storage Build and maintain STAC catalogs and cloud-optimized data for efficient access Required qualifications Master's degree in geospatial science, geography, environmental science, or related field; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with software development practices such as Git and testing Experience with cloud-native geospatial formats and services, particularly in AWS Solid understanding of geospatial fundamentals, including projections and GIS tools Hands-on experience with the STAC ecosystem and tools like pgSTAC or TiTiler is preferred
