Assessing application portfolios and defining migration strategies, the full-time Cloud Migration Engineer will design secure, scalable architectures within AWS GovCloud while executing application and data migrations in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Assess enterprise application portfolios and determine migration approaches using the 7 Rs of cloud migration Design secure and scalable AWS GovCloud architectures that meet security and operational requirements Develop migration plans, including runbooks and rollback strategies, while coordinating migration waves across teams Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline Demonstrated experience designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures, preferably within AWS GovCloud Strong understanding of enterprise application migration strategies and the 7 Rs migration framework Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, and DataSync Experience developing infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
