Job Description- The engineer will guide public-sector customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This covers secure foundational cloud setups, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architecture, and migrating, building, modernizing and maintaining applications on GCP.
Responsibilities: Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure and solve complex cloud platform challenges Design and implement cloud technical architectures, migration approaches and application optimizations with customers Act as a technical advisor and troubleshoot customer issues Create best-practice recommendations, tutorials, technical articles and sample code Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; fluent English
3+ years automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, or CI/CD
Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion
Coding in at least one general-purpose language (Python, Java, Go, C/C++), including data structures, algorithms and software design
Preferred qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or other container orchestration IT security practices: IAM, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management Experience building prototypes or applications Familiarity with DoD IL5/IL6 security standards
