This senior, hands-on leader will own cloud strategy, architecture, implementation and governance. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with Portfolio Managers and other business stakeholders to understand their needs and enable them to efficiently use public cloud solutions.As a Cloud Engineering Manager at BAM, you will:Be the hands-on manager and leader of a global team of Cloud EngineersDefine and own our cloud strategyCreate blueprints for application developers that guide them through building cost-efficient and resilient applications in the cloudPartner with application developers across the firm and enable their successDevelop self-service capabilities that allow stakeholders to access cloud services quickly, efficiently and within appropriate limitsParticipate in on-call rotation and maintenanceCore Tech Stack:Kubernetes on AWS specified via Terraform and deployed via SpaceliftTo be considered a good cultural fit, you must be:An ambitious self-starter who strives for excellence in everything they doAn efficient communicator that can work with technical and non-technical people equally wellA person that inspires and motivates their team to be their bestTo be considered a good technical fit, you must have:10+ years, hands-on experience with large-scale, highly available, services on public cloud5+ years people management experienceExpert knowledge of at least 1 public cloud provider, Kubernetes, and related toolsExperience with Direct Connect and related networking conceptsExperience integrating IAM into an enterpriseExperience with cloud-native security practices and toolsUnderstanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimizationComfortable writing PythonExperience with disaster recovery and business continuity planningDon't have all the skills listed above?

The actual base pay is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, business needs and market demands.
