Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including virtual networks, compute, storage, and PaaS services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement and enforce cloud security, identity, and governance best practices, including Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and network security controls.
• Monitor performance, cost, and reliability with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously optimize the environment while partnering with development, security, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on work designing and supporting production workloads in Azure.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python), plus experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS).
• Solid understanding of networking (VNets, VPN/ExpressRoute, DNS, load balancing), identity management, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are strongly preferred.
