Cloud DeveloperThe Cloud Developer is responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This role requires the ability to implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.
Responsibilities include:Develop and implement cloud infrastructure for applications and migrate existing on-premisesAnalyze applications and provide recommendations for platform migration, deployment into a cloud environment, and optimizationProvide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses for cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises servicesManage policies for cloud service usage, new technology requests, and ensure the establishment of a secure cloud environmentEnsure appropriate availability and uptime design for cloud servicesWork independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud softwareDebug cloud stacks and manage cloud infrastructureOther duties as assignedQualifications include:Bachelors Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience5 years of experienceStrong understanding of cloud platforms and servicesProficient in DevSecOps practices and automation tools - GitLabProficient in container orchestration and security practicesProven experience in cloud architecture and cloud service delivery modelsStrong analytical skills to provide recommendations for cloud migration and deploymentExperience in developing strategies for cloud service failure/recovery and cost optimizationAbility to manage cloud policies and ensure secure cloud environmentsActive Top SecretMust be able to pass a background check.
