Cloud Data Security Consultant (Azure Purview)Mission: Stand up secure, scalable Azure Purview scanning and classification across distributed data sources.Key WorkBuild/operate Self-Hosted Integration Runtimes (SHIRs); connect to VNets and manage Azure nodes.Manage credentials via Key Vault; register sources (Databricks, SQL Servers, etc.) in Purview Data Map.Define scan rule sets; run/monitor scans; analyze results to classify sensitive data.Partner with firewall/network teams to allow secure Purview access behind firewalls.Coordinate with requesters on source VNet details; collaborate with D&A Service Delivery.Attend Data Use Request standups; support BAU scanning & classification.Must-HavesDeep Azure background; proven Purview + SHIR setup/operations.Network/VNet, firewall rules, IAM/key management fundamentals.Hands-on data classification and policy execution at enterprise scale.
