Role Description
- Exciting opportunity to join a company experiencing exponential growth who is doing a greenfield SAP S/4 Rise implementation.
- We are looking for a Cloud Data Architect to help design and deliver the data warehouse and enterprise analytics platform.
- You will be responsible for leading the design of a cloud data warehouse and data lakehouse architecture to ingest large-scale transactional and operational data; define integration strategies; develop a reference architecture leveraging Databricks Delta Lake; implement semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud; oversee ingestion pipelines; optimize query performance; etc.
Requirements
- 7+ years in data engineering building data warehouses and working with cloud data architecture (must have been involved in standing up data warehouses)
- SAP S/4 experience is highly preferred and will be one of the primary hiring considerations outside of the data architecture experience.
- Azure experience is preferred but AWS or GCP experience will suffice.
- Databricks and Snowflake preferred but similar tools experience is acceptable.
