Job Description
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS and Azure platforms.
- Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, including policies for security, compliance, cost optimization, and resource management.
- Lead the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to cloud environments while ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to industry best practices.
- Implement cloud-native solutions such as containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architectures.
- Configure, optimize, and manage cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), and monitoring solutions.
- Ensure cloud environments comply with HIPAA, NIST, and other applicable security and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within cloud platforms.
- Provide guidance on disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for cloud-based systems.
- Establish and lead a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) to define cloud strategy, standards, and governance.
- Advise on and implement FINOps practices for cloud financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Develop and deliver training and enablement programs to strengthen internal cloud capabilities.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 5+ years of IT and industry experience.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 4 years in cloud architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure, including multi-cloud strategy and implementation.
- Proven experience designing and implementing a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, security, compliance, and cost management.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless technologies.
- Proficiency in DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Ability to advise on and implement FINOps practices for effective cloud financial management.
- AWS and Azure certifications are required.
