This contract-based role focuses on conducting clinical assessments (SRA, CSRA) and ensuring service quality and compliance.In addition, this role serves as an Outpatient Therapist, providing direct clinical services to individuals in need of ongoing mental health support.The position is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely while providing oversight and support across our Ohio service region.What You'll Be DoingClinical & Outpatient Therapy Responsibilities (Core Focus)Provide individual outpatient therapy services, using evidence-based, trauma-informed approachesDevelop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plansConduct biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluationsMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with Medicaid and OhioMHAS standardsMonitor client progress and adjust interventions to support measurable outcomesProvide crisis intervention and risk assessment when neededCollaborate with families, case managers, and other providers to ensure coordinated careAssessment & OversightConduct and document SRA and CSRA assessments for individuals enrolled in servicesLeadership & ComplianceIn conjunction with the Program Director, collecting data for quarterly reporting and compliance trackingEnsure alignment with Ohio MHAS and Medicaid guidelinesContribute to program documentation, policy development, and workflow improvementsWhat We're Looking ForMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related CACREP-accredited fieldCurrent Ohio license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT) – residency in Ohio not required1–2 years of direct clinical experience with mental health and/or substance use populationsExperience providing outpatient therapy strongly preferredStrong understanding of community-based mental health practices and service documentationCertified in CPR/First Aid and behavioral management (or willing to obtain)Valid driver's license and clean record (if field-based work is required)Ability to pass an FBI/BCI background checkPosition Overview1099 independent contractor positionHybrid work set-upAssessments capped at 6 hours per clientPreference for full-time availability, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PMWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceFlexible scheduling and remote work optionsGrowth and leadership opportunities in a mission-driven organizationSupportive and collaborative team cultureWhy Join Hidden Roots?If you're a passionate Clinician who thrives in both direct client care and clinical leadership, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.At Hidden Roots, you won't just oversee care—you'll actively provide therapy, guide clinical quality, and help shape the future of community-based mental health services.
