MLR is partnering with a local health system to fill a Clinical Therapist 1 - Respiratory position. This role involves night shifts with every other weekend and rotating schedules. Position Overview:

• Full-time, permanent, direct hire position.
• Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders, managing all aspects of respiratory care.
• Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy students and recent graduates.
• Perform therapeutic procedures, maintain detailed patient records, and ensure the proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Assemble, inspect, and operate respiratory therapy equipment as needed.

Clinical Therapist 1 - Respiratory Requirements:

• Graduate from a Registry-Level Respiratory Care Program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC.
• No prior experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• State of Texas licensure in Respiratory Care.
• Maintain active status with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) through the Continuing Competency Program (CCP).
• New graduates must obtain CRT credentials and achieve RRT credentials within 1 year. If the RRT credential is not obtained within this timeframe, the therapist will be reassigned to a Respiratory Care Practitioner role until the credential is achieved.
• BLS certification required before starting patient contact.
• ACLS certification to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC or PALS certification to be completed within 1 year of hire.
• NRP certification to be completed within 1 year of hire.
