Clinical Staff Pharmacist

To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time Ohio Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe medication dispensing in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness Provide proactive patient counseling on new prescriptions and manage inbound clinical inquiries Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards Required qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Active Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and workflow tools
