Clinical Scientist/Neuropsychological Rater

Clinical ScientistIrvine Clinical Research, a research site specializing in late phase CNS clinical trials, is seeking applicants for a Clinical Scientist in our enrollment core. The clinical scientist will work on prescreening and screening potential candidates for outpatient Phase II/III clinical trials in Neurology and Psychiatry. Study participants are generally adults with concerns about memory (e.g.

MCI and Early-Mild AD), although our site also conducts research on drugs to treat depression and other illnesses.Job DutiesAssess potential and returning study participants using clinical judgement as well as psychological, neurological, and psychiatric clinical rating scalesConduct clinical interviews to collect psychological/medical information and to effectively screen potential participants for appropriate research opportunities at our centersEducate participants about the potential benefits and risks of our clinical trials through the informed consent process and outreach eventsCommunicate with investigators, coordinators, and study teams about participantsAssist with scientific initiatives, study operations, and participant enrollment as neededJob RequirementsMA/MS/MSW/PhD/PsyD in psychology, neuroscience, or related fieldExperience with cognitive assessments and/or experience working with older adults with memory concerns, Mild Cognitive Impairment, or Early/Mild/Moderate Alzheimer's DiseaseA command of professional spoken and written English$85,000 - $85,000 a year The starting salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per year. Higher salary is negotiable with candidates who have experience with Psychometrician / Psychological Rater experience in pharmaceutical clinical trials. This is a full-time employment position based in-person at one of our clinics.

The company pays for 100% of health/dental/vision individual insurance costs for eligible full-time employees. Vacation (PTO) is earned at a rate of 3 weeks per year.
