Clinical Rheumatologist

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Rheumatologist to join their team in New Orleans, Louisiana. Practice Info

• Practice in a rewarding clinical setting at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans
• Newly purchased musculoskeletal ultrasound equipment available for clinical use
• Dedicated rheumatology PharmD and comprehensive multidisciplinary support
• Highly experienced prior authorization team, allowing physicians to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks
• Integrated health care delivery model with multi-specialty collaboration, large internal referral network and innovative resources
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the health system

Responsibilities

• Participate in fellow education and inpatient consult service coverage approximately every 7 to 8 weeks
• Conduct nine half-day outpatient clinic sessions per week
• Teach fellows, residents, and students
• Participate in clinical research

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Rheumatologist
• Physicians directly from residency training or with experience will be considered
