## Clinical Resource NurseApply: Brandon, FL: Ocala, FL: Full time: Posted Today: JR Empath Health is seeking an Clinical Resource Nurse who serves as a mentor and educator, providing just-in-time education and training to clinical colleagues. **Empath Healt**h is seeking an **Clinical Resource Nurse** who serves as a mentor and educator, providing just-in-time education and training to clinical colleagues. As an embedded member of the clinical program, the Clinical Resource Nurse provides orientation and mentoring for new clinical colleagues, mentors, preceptors, conducts field supervisory visits, facilitates education, and participates in quality improvement activities for their assigned program. They are champions for evidence-based practice. The Clinical Resource nurse works closely with the clinical operations leadership for their assigned program to coordinate training.**Travel:** Monthly travel is needed from Ocala to Naples in each area 2-3 times a week. When not traveling, may be located at one of the following locations: Ocala, Brandon, Bradenton or Fort Myers **What you'll need** * Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida* Bachelor’s Degree in a health care field preferred* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical preceptor, manager or mentor role* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home health* Some evening and weekend shifts as needed to ensure all education needs are met.* Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Ensures required training for new colleagues is conducted by coordinating and following up with managers and preceptors.* Communicates progress and provides developmental feedback to new clinical colleagues and their supervisors at regular intervals.* Serves as a clinical, quality, and compliance resource by conducting field visits, providing feedback to improve quality and performance.* Provides bedside teaching and coaching to clinical colleagues. Offers support and problem-solving assistance.* Reviews clinical colleagues’ documentation and provides guidance to ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements* Identifies opportunities for additional clinical training and professional development and collaborates with other members of the Clinical Education team.* Collaborate with clinical operations leaders in the identification and development of field orientation and training programs for assigned program/area.* Maintains skills in area of practice and assumes responsibility for own continuing professional development.
