Overview

GuideStar Eldercare’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients by easing their suffering while actively promoting safety, functionality, and dignity. Led by CEO and Founder Dr. Steven Posar, we provide neuro-behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities, using a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat neurocognitive disorders such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Your Role

As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly patients with neurocognitive and psychiatric diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation of patients
• Establish diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Vascular)
• Conduct cognitive assessments
• Offer condition‑specific supportive or insight‑based therapy
• Coordinate care plans with facilities, PCPs, GuideStar colleagues, and families as indicated

Qualifications

An active state Psychologist license, passion for the geriatric population, interest in neurobehavioral science, and a desire to make a difference in patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other neurodegenerative disorders. HSPP is preferred in applicable states.

Compensation & Benefits
