Position
Damar is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to be part of our integrated healthcare team at our East campus, located in Richmond, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely and thorough assessment and evaluations for assigned clients
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and other meetings as assigned
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance and training to Psychometrists, reviewing all diagnosis and evaluations completed, approving work completed
- Gather collateral documentation by requesting, receiving and organizing previous mental health, medical, education and other records to be used in the overall assessment of the client & evaluation
- Complete diagnostic interviews and use screening tools to evaluate the need for further testing
- Make a clinical determination on the most appropriate assessments, measures, and tests to utilize
- Complete all documentation, including but not limited to evaluation reports within 15 business days of the date of service
- Provide recommendations to caregivers both when a diagnosis is given and when a diagnosis is not
- Utilize a trauma‑assumed approach when addressing patient problem behavior
- Seek patient consent during the evaluation process
- Take pride and ownership in Damar’s facilities and assigned work areas
- Seek best use of materials, equipment, and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Act as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances
- Show initiative by identifying solutions to improve stakeholder satisfaction
- Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
- Ensure that documentation is consistent with billed services, is accurate, and legible
- Complete and update mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook
- Maintain HSPP licensure
- Interact professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and others using excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Develop and maintain professional boundaries with employees and stakeholders
- Adhere to the current APA Ethics Code
Qualifications
- PsyD or PhD required
- A minimum of 2 years completing diagnostic assessments
- HSPP endorsement
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
