Your new role
As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join in our efforts to provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities.
What you’ll do
- Provide evaluations
- Establish differential diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, vascular)
- Conduct cognitive assessments
- Deliver condition‑specific support therapy or insight‑based therapy when indicated
- Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and GuideStar colleagues, and engage with family as indicated
What you’ll need to succeed
- An active state psychologist license
- Passion for the geriatric population
- Interest in neuro‑behavioral science
- Desire to make a difference in populations with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders
- HSPP preferred in applicable states
