Overview

At Balanced Awakening , we are a boutique, psychologist‑led psychotherapy practice with a heart‑centered, growth‑oriented culture. Clinicians are supported in doing deep, meaningful work—without burnout. We are expanding and seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) passionate about meaningful clinical work, values alignment, and sustainability, desiring a well‑supported, abundant practice environment.

Purposeful, Sustainable Caseload – a consistent and fulfilling caseload of 25+ psychotherapy clients per week supported by a highly organized administrative team, allowing you to focus on clinical work rather than operational logistics.

Specialty‑Focused, Depth‑Oriented Practice – align your work with core focus areas including somatic therapy, trauma recovery, maternal mental health, art therapy, positive psychology, and relationship therapy , while continuing to develop your own expertise.

Couples Work (Optional) – if drawn to couples therapy, we support training in Imago Relationship Therapy —no prior experience required.

Leadership & Supervision Opportunities (Optional) – opportunities to provide individual and group supervision to doctoral practicum students and postdoctoral fellows.

Thought Leadership (Optional) – contribute through writing, media, and educational content to build visibility and impact beyond the therapy room.

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy to at least 25 clients per week within the practice’s core focus areas.
  • Participate in optional couples therapy training and sessions if desired.
  • Offer individual and group supervision to doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows when interested.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including the Mindvalley membership program.
  • Contribute to the practice’s culture and vision through collaboration, mentorship, and potential thought‑leadership projects.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) with clinical experience.
  • Well‑established in practice and looking for a values‑aligned, autonomy‑supporting environment.
  • Interest in or experience with somatic therapy, trauma recovery, maternal mental health, art therapy, positive psychology, and/or relationship therapy.
  • Openness to optional couples therapy training and leadership/supervision roles.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.

Compensation

$100,000 – $125,000 per year.

Employment Information

Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level.
