The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to join our Women's Health Clinic through the IMPACT Program. This is a part‑time position at 0.60 FTE, reporting to the Chief of Service. The clinician will work collaboratively with the Unit Chief as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychology, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social work, nursing, creative arts therapy, and trainees.
Responsibilities
- Provision of primary psychiatric care to all assigned patients including evidence‑based behavioral health services.
- Co‑leadership of psycho‑educational and psychotherapeutic groups for appropriate patients as assigned.
- Responsible for clinical evaluations, treatment decisions, and dispositions for assigned patients.
- Participate with the IMPACT team and other inter‑disciplinary teams in Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Psychiatry for treatment planning.
- Liaison with patient families and external agencies and other medical specialties for assigned patients.
- Teaching and supervision of child psychiatry fellows, general psychiatry residents and other trainees working in IMPACT program.
- Adherence to all Federal, State, and City regulations.

All attending Psychiatrists in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry service at Bellevue receive a faculty appointment in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine with additional opportunities for teaching and other academic endeavors.
Salary Range
$167,400 to $168,650
