Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and dispense medications to ensure safe and accurate therapy.
- Provide clinical pharmacy consultations to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust medication regimens based on evidence-based guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on medication use, safety, and adherence.
- Support pharmacy residents, students, and interns through teaching and mentorship.
- Contribute to hospital initiatives including quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical research.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
- Current Florida Pharmacist License (or eligibility for licensure).
- PGY1 or PGY2 residency preferred; clinical experience in a hospital or health system strongly desired.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
