Join Oscar Health and play a key role in supporting evidence-based medication coverage decisions while working from the comfort of your home.

Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour

Contract: Through April 2027 (with potential extension or conversion based on performance and business needs)

Schedule

One weekend shift per week after the first 2 months

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate prior authorization requests and appeals
• Apply clinical criteria to approve or deny medication coverage requests
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with prescribing physicians
• Support escalations and clinical review processes
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of pharmacist experience
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with healthcare providers
• Ability to work remotely from an approved state

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior authorization or clinical review experience
• Managed Care, PBM, Health Plan, or Insurance experience
• Experience applying clinical criteria for medication approvals/denials
• BCPS, BCOP, Residency Training, or other board certifications

Interview Process

1. Clinical Pharmacist Case Study (completed within 48 hours)
2. 30-minute virtual interview with a Senior Clinical Pharmacist
3. 30-minute virtual interview with a Pharmacy Supervisor
